Great Stay, But Digital Check-in Was a Bit Tricky

My family and I booked one of Numa's city center accommodation options, and overall, we had a fantastic time! The fully equipped kitchenettes were a lifesaver, allowing us to save some money on meals, which was awesome. The location was perfect for exploring the city. My one minor hang-up was the digital check-in process. While it's cool in theory, I had a bit of trouble finding where to input the member code I got when signing up – it wasn't immediately obvious in the final booking stage and took a few tries to locate. Once we were in though, everything was great! I'd still recommend them to friends, especially for the great value.

Mostly good, but the cancellation policy is tricky

Numa's business travel suites are pretty nice, similar to what you'd get with Staycity but maybe a bit more modern. everything was clean and comfortable, no complaints there. I signed up for the member account to get the best rate, which worked fine and saved me some cash. My only gripe is their cancellation policy; it's a bit rigid and I had to jump through some hoops when my plans changed last minute. it would be nice if that was a little more flexible. 🤔

Loved the loft apartment!

Just got back from a Numa loft apartment, and it was fantastic! The design was so cool, and the bed was super comfy. Everything was spotless, and the digital support was quick when I had a question. I'm already planning my next trip to try another one of their locations. I'm telling all my friends about it!

Smooth digital nomad experience

I booked a Numa for a month-long stay as a digital nomad. The booking process online was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear photos of the apartment. Check-in was entirely contactless through an app, which was great for my late arrival. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable for video calls, and the co-working space, though small, was a useful addition. The kitchenette meant I could cook my own meals, which is essential for longer trips. Customer support was responsive via chat when I had a query about laundry facilities. The location was central, making it easy to explore after work. Overall, a solid choice for anyone needing a functional and well-managed long-term stay.

Easy stay in Berlin

Stayed at a Numa in Berlin for a weekend getaway. The digital check-in was super smooth, no waiting around. The place was clean and felt pretty modern. We just wanted a comfy spot to crash after exploring, and it totally fit the bill. Would book again if I'm back in the area.

Great value for a longer stay

I was looking for a place for a longer stay, about two weeks, and found Numa. I signed up for their membership which gave me 15% off right away, which was a nice saving. The fully equipped kitchenette saved me a ton on eating out, making it much more affordable than a traditional hotel. It really felt like I got a good deal for what I paid, especially considering how central the location was. Definitely worth it if you're trying to save money on a longer trip.

Good value, minor snag

I booked a studio apartment with Numa for a short business trip. The price was competitive, especially with the member discount I got. The contactless check-in was convenient, and the apartment was well-equipped and clean. The only small issue was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty one evening, but it cleared up by morning. Overall, it was a positive experience and a practical choice for my needs.

Do Numa places have any luggage storage if you arrive early or have a late flight? Hate dragging my bags around.

A Anna J. 2 months ago
Some of them do! It's not at every single location though, so you'd have to check for your specific booking. Sometimes it's like lockers nearby.

B Brett Romero 2 months ago
I've used it before, it's usually off-site or a specific locker system they direct you to. Not like a hotel front desk where they hold it for you.

Thinking of booking a Numa for a trip to Berlin next month. Are their places pretty legit or is it more like a fancy Airbnb vibe? Trying to avoid any surprises.

G Gwen Osei 2 months ago
It's def not like a random Airbnb, more like a hotel but without a front desk. Super clean and modern, always felt safe.

Yeah, I'd say closer to a boutique hotel with more space. Digital check-in is smooth, no awkward key handovers or anything.

What's the deal with their member discount? Is it a pain to sign up or actually worth it for just one stay?

T Troy S. 2 months ago
Super easy to sign up, just make an account. It's usually 15% off, so even for one trip it's probably worth it.

J Josh 2 months ago
Yeah, if you're staying for more than a night or two, 15% adds up. No brainer really.

Does anyone know if Numa places are cool with pets? Planning a trip to Munich and wanna bring my dog.

A Anna 3 months ago
Some of them are! You have to filter for pet-friendly on their site when you're searching. Not all locations allow them.

I think they usually charge an extra fee too for pets, just a heads up. Saw it mentioned somewhere.

Hey, I'm looking at Numa vs Sonder for an upcoming trip to Rome. Any strong opinions or experiences with either that made you pick one over the other?

N Neil Hughes 3 months ago
I've done both. Numa feels a bit more consistent with the 'designer' aesthetic, usually really clean and modern. Sonder can be a bit hit or miss depending on the specific unit, I've found.

Numa's digital check-in is super easy. Haven't had any issues there. Sonder was also fine, but Numa's just felt a bit more streamlined for me.
